Welcome to the homepage of Award Nominated Performer and Award Winning Composer Garrit Guadan. Born in the state of Washington, Garrit began his career as a performer at 15, when he was cast in his first role as Noah Claypool in Oliver. With his first role came the realization that the stage is where he is meant to be. Since that first experience, Garrit has gone on to play Leading Roles and Character Roles in many productions, as well as act as Musical Director and Pianist. He studied Theatre, Music, and Religion at the University of Puget Sound, as well as musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He studied opera at the University of Puget Sound where, at the age of 20, he performed the role of Gabriel Eisenstein in their production of Die Fledermaus. As a singer, Garrit has been described as "Beyond his years in maturity, volume, and quality", and as a performer he has been described as "Ageless.....he can play 18 to 48". As a Musical Director, Garrit has worked on many productions, most recently the Drama Desk Nominated Twist, for which he has also contributed original music. Now living in New York, Garrit works as an Actor, Composer (member of ASCAP), Musical Director, Pianist, and Teacher.
